Requirements:
Master of Science (equivalent to Engineering degree in Brazil - Electrical
or equivalent)
Proven professional experience with specific wiring tools - Saber, Catia and
Pro/E
Previous experience in automotive industry in the electronics hardware field
with particular good knowledge of Engine and Vehicle systems
Knowledge in documentation tools (Kola, PDMLink, Protus) will be considered
a merit
Fluent in English and Portuguese (Written & Verbal)
Activities:
We are seeking a motivated and qualified engineer to wants a challenging
career opportunity in Powertrain Engineering as a Wiring Harness engineer.
You will be working with the technical development of heavy duty and medium
duty powertrain wiring harnesses and power cables engaging yourself in
projects and product maintenance activities and providing solutions to
optimize demands on quality, deliveries, cost and features (QDCF).
Developing both electrical and mechanical designs of harnesses taking into
account systems and interfaces requirements, physical constrains and final
product dynamics aspects;
Responsible of the technical release and documentation such as drawings,
technical regulations, CAD models, installation documentation and product
structure;
Working in close co-operation with suppliers, systems engineering, system-
and component owners, purchasing, manufacturing and aftermarket;
Ensuring a smooth information flow inside the group to external counterparts
enabling proactive and constructive co-operation;
Be an active community member and contribute with process teams.
As a member of a team that is also responsible for software and other
hardware components an open-mind and flexibility to take engineering
activities beyond this original scope will be well regarded.
To integrate these communities, you need to enjoy interacting with people of
different backgrounds and organizational belongings. If you want to be a
successful candidate you must also realize the importance of customers,
production, and quality requirements within product development.
